PTS - Production Tracking System
The primary purpose of the Production Tracking System is to achieve production efficiencies through a reduction in labor and key-in errors via the capture of production data during each shift, and the delivery of analyses and reports in real-time directly to the individuals responsible for the production process. Efficiencies are gained via the:

  • Local capture and storage of tool usage data to analyze plant incurred tool expenses by plant, cell, shift, family, machine, and part.

QHDTS - Quality Hold & Disposition Tracking System
The primary purposes of the Quality Hold & Disposition Tracking System is to ensure the proper identification, documentation and disposition of non-conforming material and parts, record and control the use of parts not meeting specifications, improve business processes through data management, analysis and reporting, and the delivery of analyses and reports in real-time to all responsible individuals.  Efficiencies are gained via the:

  • Recording of suspected non-conforming material.

  • Printing and tracking of Quality Hold/Disposition tags.

  • On-line reports/data extractions, analysis charts & graphs.

CRTS - Customer Returns Tracking System
The primary purposes of the Customer Returns Tracking System is to collect, record, process, control, and report information supporting the documentation and approval of product returned from domestic and international customers, improve business processes and tighten data integrity through accurate information management, analysis and reporting, identify and prioritize problem areas to dispatch corrective action and problem solving teams, and reduce the occurrences of returned material from customers; subsequently reducing the resource requirements and overall cost to the organization.  Efficiencies are gained via the:

  • Form-based recording and tracking of returned material data including serial numbers, parts, shifts, cells, machines, mfg. date, customers, IPR, NCMR, received/evaluation dates, reject reason/area, part status, and defects found.

  • Palm Pilot-based capture of information with cable/cradle dock auto-synchronization of captured data to the customer returns database.

  • Microsoft Excel form-based capture of information with automated processing and posting to the customer returns database.

  • Recording and tracking of return approval status with automated prompting of pending returns.

  • Automated breakdown/parsing of serial number inputs into component part number, manufactured date/time, and the shift/cell/machine where the part was manufactured.

  • System-based tracking of returned serial numbers in application forms and Palm Pilot with system-generated promptings during the processing of a duplicate return.

  • Flexible run-time data element and support table maintenance through on-board system maintenance forms with administratively defined available and mandatory field requirements before data can be saved.

  • Dynamic user/account creation with form, report, and shift-based security functionality.

  • Ability to dynamically update the application through eMail'ed developer patch files.

  • "Visual Reporter" with report preview/selection. The reporter contains a user-configurable report option to include up to six previously defined system graphs added to a single report. The System Administrator can define the titles of each canned report to be displayed at runtime.

  • User-friendly query tool/report writer with point-and-click direct access to all data stored in the back-end server database with the ability to limit and export the returned datasets to Microsoft Excel.

  •  Scheduled/automated distribution of message alerts, canned reports, and user-developed reports through Email distribution lists.
